@sea inflatable boats are made from high quality materials.
The rigid tender hulls are made from marine grade aluminum, stronger and lighter then plastic. In the tubes we use high quality pvc coated fabric. We weld the tubes instead of gluing them, this makes the tube seam much stronger and our tubes will probably outlast most other makers. On customer request we can also deliver the boats with ORCA® Hypalon tubes.
One of the most important things, other than the boat being strong and safe, is that it’s light.
Light weight is often in conflict when building a strong boat. We solved it with our material choices; our RIB boats are built with hulls in aluminum which are stronger and lighter then plastic. And our foldable boats have either light air deck or slatted floor both light and the best choice when you need to be able to stow your boat.
Last but not least you need to tow, lift and stow your boat.
Once again the lightness of our boats makes it easier. All our boats also have davit lifting points. All boats in YT, YA, YL and YS series have 2 D-rings in the front for 3-point towing. If you often carry your boat you can add wheels to the transom; this way when on land you lower the wheels and can easily roll your boat. If you don’t have davit but a bath platform on your transom you can add snap davit; this way you can easily store your boat on your bath platform.
